British boxer Anthony Joshua said he will "overwhelm entirely" Jake Paul and "break" the American as the combatants confronted each other to build hype for the upcoming heavyweight fight.
Ex two time world boxing king Anthony Joshua faces YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, theoretically, a huge mismatch - at Miami venue on December 19th.
Boxer's Mindset
"I'm going to damage his features and hurt his body. I aim to demonstrate I'm the better fighter," Joshua, 35, declared.
"I plan to overwhelm him. That's how fighters think.
"I will genuinely try to hurt him. That's my intention."
Respectful Exchange
In spite of such comments, a relaxed Anthony Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - typically known for his showmanship - were respectful and kept it respectful with each other.
Jake Paul instead targeted former Joshua rival the Cameroonian fighter and called him "not serious" after Ngannou rejected a bout proposal.
Targeting Tyson Fury
Joshua, at the same time, criticized British opponent Fury - and rejected a £1m bet 'Tyson Fury' says he will place on a Paul win.
"Jake Paul outshines Tyson Fury - he's present here," the boxer stated.
"I respect him for that."

In spite of declaring he will hurt Jake Paul, Anthony Joshua declined to comment unfavorably about his opponent's boxing ability.

He lost to British fighter Fury in last year.

The 28-year-old anticipated a KO victory in round four or five and claimed he would stop the long-awaited Joshua–Fury fight, which is apparently in the works for 2026.
"The next fight will be me versus Tyson Fury in the coming year," Paul stated.
